It all started one dark and stormy night…
I’m kidding (but I feel like a lot of good stories start that way, right?) My story with photography does not though; my story starts with a 15 year old home-schooled creative who saved up all her birthday money to buy her first camera. Back then I never would have guessed where that road would take me, or the joy I would experience in photographing weddings, couples, families, and more.
I am a very nostalgic person, which is why photography has become so important to me. My nostalgia started when I was growing up; I traveled a lot with my family, which resulted in me making friends that lived thousands of miles away and having experiences that impacted and changed me. The pictures and videos from each of my trips not only helped me remember the beautiful moments, but they helped me relive them. Truthfully, I still find myself sifting through photos from my childhood trips, and the same powerful emotions overtake me each time. That’s exactly what I want to give to you through my photography: the ability to remember and relive some of the most monumental moments of your life.
